This guide builds a customer help center in Doxbrix that does more than host articles — it actively deflects support tickets by answering questions with AI first, and escalates to your team with full context when it can't. Customers get instant answers, and your support team handles fewer, better-contextualized tickets.
Who this is for
Support and customer-success teams who want a self-service help center that reduces ticket volume while improving customer experience.
Step 1 — Create the help center
Create a project with the Help Center template. It seeds article categories, an FAQ, and a contact section.
In Settings → Project → Site Layout, choose Help Center (categories) for a category-driven landing page.
Use groups for categories like Getting Started, Billing, Account, and Troubleshooting.
Step 2 — Write deflection-friendly articles
"Why was my card declined?" beats "Payment failure reference" — it improves both search and AI answer quality.
Put the resolution first; explain details after.
<Steps> for procedures, <Accordion> for FAQs, <Warning> for gotchas.
Use analytics — the Missing pages report and Unresolved questions queue show what customers ask that you haven't documented.
Connect a built-in connector — Zendesk, Freshdesk, Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Zoho Desk, and more — or use Email to ticket / Webhook. See Support handoff.
Tickets arrive with the full conversation and the articles the assistant consulted, so agents don't start from scratch.
Apply your branding so the help center matches your product.
Public for general support, or Private with reader authentication for customer-only content.
Go live, then add the embed assistant to your app so help is available everywhere.
