Billing covers your Doxbrix subscription: which plan you're on, what it includes, how to change it, and where to find invoices. It's managed at the workspace level by Owners under Settings → Workspace → Billing.
Plans
Doxbrix offers tiered plans that scale from individuals to large organizations:

| **Starter** | Small teams getting going | More projects and seats, custom domain, full editor. |
| **Pro** | Teams and growing products | Multiple projects, Git sync, larger AI grant, custom branding. |
| **Business** | Established teams | Advanced governance, larger AI grants, priority support. |
| **Enterprise** | Large organizations | SSO/SCIM, data residency, zero-retention AI, SLAs. |
What your plan affects
- Projects — how many documentation projects you can run.
- Seats — how many members you can add.
- AI grant — the monthly token grant and the ability to add token packs.
- Git sync — two-way docs-as-code sync (Pro and above).
- Security — SSO and SCIM on Enterprise.
- Support — response times and dedicated support on higher tiers.
The Billing page
The Billing page shows your Current plan and lets you manage everything in one place:
- Plan — compare tiers and Upgrade or change your plan.
- Seats — how many member seats you have and how many are used.
- Payment — your payment method.
- Invoices — past charges to view and download.
Changing your plan
Go to Settings → Workspace → Billing as an Owner.
Compare plans and select the one you want, then Upgrade.
Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current period.
Seats
Plans are priced per member seat. When inviting a member would exceed your seat count, you're prompted to add seats. See Members & roles for the role each seat can hold.
Payment and invoices
- Payment method — added and managed on the Billing page; card details are processed securely and never stored raw by Doxbrix.
- Invoices — every charge generates an invoice you can view and download from the Billing page.
AI grants and token packs
Your plan includes a monthly token grant for AI. When you need more, add token packs for extra headroom, or move to a higher plan. Track consumption on the Usage page and set budgets in the Workspace AI policy.
